Dinner March 15, 2011

Life has been more than a little crazy for me. I've let the photography go by the wayside.

I'm not proud of that.

As I posted on my 365 Project page, I think it might be best if I just started taking pictures of dinners that Chris makes. The boy deserves it. He really is a great cook. And can be quite creative when he has the time.

Many nights, dinner will be soup and crackers. But on the days it's not, he more than makes up for it.

Today was BBQ Opening Day. I worked late (as usual). When I walked into the house, the aroma was mouthwatering!

If you know Chris, you'd think he arranged this to like like...well, you know. But he didn't. "It's a Salvador Dali crutch," he says. I swear the man is gay. No straight man would come up with that!

The best part is that there is enough left over for me to take for lunch on Thursday. I still have leftover tuna salad and crackers from today, that I'll eat tomorrow. But this, this will be Thursday's lunch.

Chalk it up

Carrying on with yesterday's pool theme, I played with several angles and focal points with the chalk. This was my favourite. Probably also the best one.

Behind the 8-Ball

This picture personifies my feelings exactly. I have way too many projects on the go right now. I'm writing my novel, I blog on three different blogs, I work stupid hours and I've taken on the 365 challenge. What the hell was I thinking?

So I'm going to cut myself some slack. I'll post when I can and hope that I can keep up.

So yesterday's picture...

We have a pool table at work in the staff lounge. It's not used often, but it's there. If nothing else, it makes for cool pictures.

365 Project - Day 31

Visiting my cousin, Sue, on the weekend, I couldn't help but take a picture of these enormous frozen spikes hanging from her roof.

Not to mention, I had great fun experimenting with colour!

365 Project - Day 30

And we continue catching up with this, which I took a while back in Mexico.

The cool thing about posting older pics is that I have figured out how to manipulate them. The colours are so much better now.

365 Project - Day 29

In continuing with my catch-up phase, I posted a picture of Fred the Cat. Originally posted here at my Urban Contessa blog, I couldn't resist sharing the cuteness of Fred with everyone else.
